About the Role
SOCi, a leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding team. As an SDR, you will be instrumental in driving SOCi's growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is designed to accelerate your career in sales, with a clear path towards becoming an Account Executive and beyond. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to generate excitement and build a strong sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for their territories.
- Identify and blueprint key target accounts.
- Initiate contact with key accounts to schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations.
- Conduct discovery calls for accounts identified by Account Executives.
- Support Account Executives in following up on and advancing deals.
- Identify opportunities for expansion within SOCi's largest and most strategic customer accounts.
- Close transactional business for the Account Executive team.
- Assist with territory-specific gifting programs, events, and pre/post-conference outreach.
- Partner with Account Executives and marketing to source sales enablement collateral.
Requirements
- Proven ability to be a self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or with coaching.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on pipeline development.
- Experience in previous inside sales roles applying communication and pipeline development skills.
- Ability to leverage intrinsic motivation and collaborative teamwork to achieve success.
- High work ethic, curiosity, and a drive to achieve sales goals.
- Capacity to clearly articulate the business impact of solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
- Experience using various business software tools and positioning multiple products effectively.
- A desire to work in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving job responsibilities.
Desired Skills (Not Required)
- 1 year of experience in prospecting and pipeline generation for SaaS-based solutions, preferably for mid-market to enterprise accounts in a dynamic, transactional environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise field teams in a multi-product SaaS environment.
