Network and Cybersecurity Delivery Lead
ECS is seeking an experienced Network and Cybersecurity Delivery Lead to join our team remotely. This role is crucial for providing infrastructure support within the NIH NIAID Enabling and Advancing Technologies (NEAT) program. You will be instrumental in facilitating the implementation and operation of network and cybersecurity initiatives, supporting current and future technologies. This includes evaluating, planning, and implementing new technologies in response to evolving business strategies, policies, and regulatory changes.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract win.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements, define problems, and develop plans and requirements for moderately complex to complex systems.
- Focus on areas including information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communication protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.
- Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships, and identify resources needed for each task.
- Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Leverage commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technologies directly related to the required area of expertise.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including managing support teams and ensuring quality of service operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Active Public Trust or higher security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex security challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL v4 Foundation, SAFe, COMP, Security+, CompTIA, etc.
- Demonstrated expertise in database management, various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), and multiple programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, etc.).
- Must reside within the Washington DC Metro area.
- Ability to travel within the Washington DC Metro Area and CONUS as needed.
