Key Responsibilities

As a Customs Compliance Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all customs-related activities adhere to relevant regulations and company policies. Your role will involve:

• Managing and overseeing all aspects of customs compliance for Wärtsilä's operations.
• Staying updated on international trade regulations and customs laws.
• Liaising with customs authorities and other relevant government agencies.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and declarations for imported and exported goods.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with customs procedures.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of customs compliance strategies.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in customs compliance, ideally within the manufacturing, marine, or energy industries. Key skills and experience include:

• Proven expertise in Customs Compliance.
• Experience as a Specialist in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with technology, marine, and energy sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
