About the Role
Contentstack is expanding its global partner relationships team and seeking a Partner Relationship Manager – Strategic Technology Partnerships to build and grow a network of partners aligned with our go-to-market strategy. This is a foundational role focused on developing a deep, monetized, AI-centric technology partner ecosystem. This position is quota-carrying and involves architecting and leading the global strategic technology alliance motion. You will define partnership targets, monetization strategies, and operationalize a repeatable co-sell engine, collaborating closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive 360-degree ownership of partner relationships, from onboarding and market awareness to pipeline generation.
- Define and prioritize strategic technology categories (e.g., foundation models, AI orchestration, data and CDP, vector/search, commerce, hyperscalers) and build a target list of 15-25 partners with clear business cases.
- Develop joint plans with partners and track progress against agreed metrics.
- Identify opportunities for joint solution development and lead their go-to-market execution.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert and portfolio owner for strategic technology partners, supporting go-to-market and sales activities.
- Optimize existing partner sales processes, relationships, and customer success stories by collaborating with internal cross-functional departments.
- Provide strategic guidance to partners, clients, and account teams on partner growth strategies for best-in-class joint solutions.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with technology partners.
- Recruit new strategic partnerships to support product roadmap development (e.g., data partners, AI-native partnerships).
- Coordinate with the global partnership team to share knowledge, best practices, and ensure a consistent approach to partner management.
- Manage administrative activities related to regional partnerships.
- Create and execute a sound go-to-market strategy for your region.
- Track performance against goals using OKRs, KPIs, and quotas.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in technology partnerships, alliance management, business development, or ecosystem strategy within a B2B SaaS company.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, applying sound business judgment and financial metrics.
- Proven track record of partnering with foundation model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and AI infrastructure companies, particularly in AI, data, cloud, or composable/DXP categories.
- Strong networking skills and established connections across various levels.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to generate pipeline and drive growth.
- Independent, results-oriented work style with a proactive approach to initiating change and strategic thinking within cross-functional teams.
