Job Description

About Datavant

Datavant is a trusted data collaboration platform for healthcare. Our mission is to make the world’s health data secure, accessible, and actionable. We provide critical data solutions for organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, health plans, researchers, and life sciences companies. By joining Datavant, you'll be part of a driven and highly collaborative team passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.

About the Role

As a Product Implementation Consultant, you will be at the forefront of partnering with our healthcare provider clients. You will work directly with Datavant business operations, healthcare provider technical and non-technical stakeholders, and Datavant product and engineering teams to implement digital technology products that support Release of Information (ROI) and Healthcare Information Management (HIM) activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of implementing Datavant digital products for clients, including managing internal and external project team members to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Own the technical configuration, project management, integrated testing, technical troubleshooting, and change readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a technical and product expert, addressing issues and questions that arise during the implementation process.
  • Ensure the success of digital products for clients and business operations units by gaining a deep understanding of healthcare providers’ medical records systems and workflows.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support, identifying opportunities to better serve clients through new features, use cases, and products.
  • Identify and support the automation of repeatable implementation and customer support processes.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the Product team to improve our product suite.
  • Partner with Sales and Services teams to shape and close deals, offering technical support, product vision, and expert perspective.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of Datavant’s software and its various applications.
  • Curiosity for understanding current processes and products, with an aptitude for streamlining and improving efficiency.
  • High customer empathy for both internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to navigate highly regulated environments and overcome bureaucracy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, including systematic follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and navigate ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally with diverse personas across internal teams, including Commercial (Go To Market/Sales), Business Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Security/Compliance.
  • Highly motivated and driven to deliver results, with a solutions-oriented mindset for overcoming challenges.

Bonus Experience

  • Prior experience implementing SaaS integration solutions (e.g., APIs, system/application/data interfaces) within or between large, complex organizations.
  • Prior experience in healthcare information technology roles, particularly related to Health Information Management (HIM) or Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
  • Experience with database management and database querying languages, such as SQL.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to be part of a high-growth, high-performance health technology company.
  • A collaborative team environment focused on transforming healthcare.
  • Competitive total rewards strategy.
  • Estimated total cash compensation range: $84,000—$90,000 USD.

Datavant is committed to building a diverse team and fostering an inclusive culture where all employees belong and thrive. We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
