Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A
HubSpot is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This remote role is a permanent position within our tech industry company.
The Corporate FP&A team is integral to ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across the Finance organization and HubSpot. This role will support consolidated financial planning and analysis, working with complex datasets to analyze and forecast key financial metrics. You will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including functional FP&A (Sales, Marketing, GTM, Product, G&A), Accounting, Finance leadership, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing decisions with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Lead the company’s monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, enhancing corporate models for financial predictability and accuracy.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial performance, forecasts, and financial reviews with leadership.
- Prepare internal and external reporting deliverables, conduct insightful analyses, and present findings to guide strategic discussions.
- Analyze actual performance against plan/forecast, identifying trends, variances, and business drivers.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, management presentations, earnings release materials, and board materials.
- Synthesize key business data and present recommendations to key stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
- Contribute to evolving and driving efficiency in financial processes and systems to support company-wide planning.
What we’re looking for:
- An AI-first operating mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage AI for efficiency and insight generation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CPA/CFA is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in FP&A or analytical fields.
- Strong business consulting, strategic, analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Experience in the technology/SaaS industry is preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and US GAAP.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), and/or FP&A software (e.g., Anaplan).
- Comfortable summarizing and identifying key informational gaps with incomplete data.
- Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize key takeaways and present data effectively.
- A self-starter with intellectual curiosity to identify and solve problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operating environment and adapt to evolving financial priorities.
Pay & Benefits
- Annual Cash Compensation Range: $110,900—$166,400 USD
- Compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
