About the Role

Gritter Francona is seeking a motivated Data Technician to join their team in Texas, supporting a contract with the Veterans Affairs. This is an onsite, contract position perfect for a junior professional looking to gain valuable experience in data management. You will be an integral part of a collaborative delivery team, working closely with a team lead to ensure accurate data processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry and Processing: Accurately enter, update, and correct data within databases, managing high volumes of information.
• Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by performing verification and cleaning tasks across various systems.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and extract meaningful insights from data to support operational needs.
• Documentation and Security: Maintain comprehensive data documentation, including dictionaries and models, while strictly adhering to data security policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with databases.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Effective communication abilities with managers and customers.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, and Jira is a plus.
