Ameritas is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Group Regional Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to build and maintain strong business relationships within the Carolinas territory, focusing on selling Dental, Vision, and Hearing employee benefit products.
About the Role
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth by developing and nurturing relationships with brokers, agents, and other insurance professionals. You will gain a deep understanding of Ameritas' business, our diverse Group products, and the brokerage community to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships to achieve sales targets within your assigned territory.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Ameritas' products, business operations, and the brokerage landscape.
- Support new sales initiatives and contribute to the development and sales of new products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of sold products.
- Identify and secure new customer sales opportunities in partnership with brokers.
- Manage the existing client base to identify and develop new sales opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and enhance producer relationships through product knowledge, territory management, and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to learn the insurance/financial services industry, including products and marketing practices.
- Demonstrated leadership presence and strong relationship-building skills; a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Highly energized, motivated, results-oriented self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- State Health/Life License required. If not currently held, must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
