We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a project with a corporation that delivers innovative IoT connected software solutions to automotive and agriculture manufacturers. This is a permanent, 100% remote role.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. We are looking for someone with good communication skills, who is proactive, experienced in building software from scratch, and possesses strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition of the Test Automation architecture.
- Own common framework components and API/MNO simulation systems.
- Promote the standardization of test automation practices across the organization.
- Provide guidance and technical support on Test Automation framework use to scrum teams.
- Train testers and developers on the use of the test automation framework and tools.
- Support the UAT team with Test Automation.
- Evaluate and pilot the introduction of new test automation technologies, practices, and approaches.
- Design and develop common framework components.
- Act as a source of knowledge on test automation.
- Evaluate the test automation capabilities of potential candidates during recruitment.
- Occasionally be attached to scrum teams to set up new frameworks and test execution pipelines.
- Participate in PI planning sessions as a test automation consultant.
- From time to time, support the performance test team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience automating API and Web application testing.
- Experience with API simulation tools.
- Experience designing a framework from the ground up.
- Experience working with .NET/C# and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of test automation architecture.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in or with Agile teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the Mobile Telecoms industry.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- Experience working with no-code automation tools.
- Experience working with cloud computing systems such as Azure and AWS.
- Performance testing experience.
