About the Role

Pickle is seeking an experienced Freelance Content Creator to develop engaging learning, enablement, and communication content for enterprise audiences. This remote role, with a preference for candidates in the UK time zone, combines instructional design, content strategy, and storytelling. You will be responsible for transforming complex information into clear, practical, and engaging content that empowers individuals to learn, perform, and achieve business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, adept at simplifying technical or complex subject matter, and comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Storytelling:
  • Transform complex products, services, processes, and business concepts into engaging, audience-focused content.
  • Analyze briefs to understand target audience, business objectives, desired behavioral outcomes, success measures, and content constraints.
  • Recommend effective content formats, including learning materials, job aids, decision trees, playbooks, talk tracks, scenario-based learning, and demonstrations.
  • Develop clear narrative structures that maintain engagement and support practical application.
• Learning & Enablement Content Development:
  • Create a variety of content types, including training presentations, slide decks, learning resources, job aids, sales enablement materials, playbooks, toolkits, e-learning scripts, module content, video scripts, storyboards, and infographics (collaborating with designers as needed).
  • Apply adult learning principles to ensure content is relevant, practical, and easy to implement.
• AI-Enhanced Content Creation:
  • Integrate AI tools into your professional workflow for research, outlining, drafting, iteration, and content refinement.
  • Validate all AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, tone, inclusivity, and brand alignment.
  • Utilize AI to improve clarity, challenge assumptions, strengthen examples, and enhance learner engagement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to project-specific AI usage guidelines.
• Subject Matter Translation:
  • Convert complex technical, product, or business information into practical, audience-friendly content.
  • Synthesize large volumes of information into concise, high-value outputs.
  • Create realistic business scenarios and examples to support understanding and application.
• Brand & Messaging Consistency:
  • Ensure all content aligns with established brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging frameworks.
  • Maintain consistency across terminology, formatting, and narrative structure.
  • Deliver concise content that meets defined consumption goals without sacrificing quality or clarity.
• Collaboration:
  • Participate in project briefings and stakeholder discussions.
  • Work closely with project leads, designers, learning specialists, and subject matter experts.
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions for risks, gaps, or ambiguities.
  • Collaborate effectively using Google Workspace and shared documentation environments.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain high standards of quality across all deliverables.
  • Conduct final reviews for accuracy, clarity, consistency, usability, adherence to brief, and fact-checking.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating learning, training, enablement, or educational content for enterprise or B2B audiences.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience translating complex information into accessible and engaging content.
• Strong proficiency with Google Docs and Google Slides.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience incorporating AI tools into content creation workflows.
• Desirable: Sales enablement or customer enablement content development, Learning & Development (L&D) experience, e-learning script writing and LMS content development, experience with technical products, software, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
