Industrial Engineering Equipment Cost Specialist

About the Role

Sidel is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Equipment Cost Specialist to join a cross-functional team. This permanent, onsite role is based in Parma, Italy. The primary objective is to ensure proactive cost planning, cost management, and cost reduction practices by integrating cost estimation and monitoring early in the design and development cycle of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform target cost calculations for modules and equipment within the existing portfolio and for new product lines.
• Implement and maintain cost management and cost reduction practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to anticipate and address cost implications.
• Monitor and report on equipment costs, identifying areas for optimization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cost calculation and cost management within an engineering or manufacturing context.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and the engineering design process.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cost planning and reduction strategies.
