About the Role

Pirelli is seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Automation Technician to join our manufacturing team in Bergamo, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position for a mid-level professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems and automation equipment within the manufacturing environment.
• Ensure the efficient operation of automated machinery and production lines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement and optimize automation solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical and automation systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and automation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PLC Automation Technician.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems.
• Experience within the tire industry or a similar manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in relevant electrical and mechanical maintenance procedures.
