Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a senior-level Site IT Director to join our team in Monza, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position within our manufacturing facility.

As part of a successful, growing global organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and directing IT operations at our Monza site. You will be responsible for ensuring that our IT infrastructure and services effectively support our manufacturing operations while adhering to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all IT operations at the Monza site.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all relevant Safety Standards.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Manage IT-related aspects concerning Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, such as safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coats, and earplugs, as applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
• Strong understanding of GMP and manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with safety standards and the use of PPE.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.
• Experience working in an office and manufacturing setting.
