About the Role

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Commodity Manager to join our team in Torino, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position within our manufacturing division. As a Commodity Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee specific commodities within the supply chain.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Ensure efficient logistics and delivery of goods.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Commodity Management.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain principles.
• Expertise in Procurement processes.
• Excellent Negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Logistics operations.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
