About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. As a pivotal technical partner, you will present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers, translating complex goals into relevant recommendations. Your mission is to serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through their transformational journeys with deep technical expertise and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present the Zscaler cloud security platform to prospective customers.
  • Set the vision and translate customer goals into compelling and relevant recommendations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting their digital transformation journey.
  • Gather customer technical requirements and articulate the value proposition through Proof of Value (POV), presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities.
  • Deliver proof of concept engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant.
  • Knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies.
  • Experience working with Value Selling Methodologies.
  • Proficiency in creating presentations and delivering technical demonstrations.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities.
  • Proven ability to gather customer technical requirements.
  • Comfort thriving in ambiguous environments and building processes as you go.
  • A proactive, owner-like mentality with a bias for action and integrity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions.
  • High-trust collaborator with a team-oriented mindset and a willingness to give and receive feedback.
  • A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Platform and other relevant certifications such as CISSP or CCNP.
  • Technical experience in SASE, Proxy technology, Cybersecurity, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP.
