The Role

Design is a cornerstone of our product at Nevis. We are focused on simplifying complex operational workflows and replacing outdated advisor software with modern, AI-first tools.

We are seeking an exceptional Product Designer eager to contribute to building a category-defining product.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the design process for your product area, from initial problem definition through to product launch.
• Operate with speed, ship frequently, and gain insights from seeing your work used by real users.
• Engage with advisors to deeply understand their challenges and inform design decisions.
• Create designs and prototypes using Figma and AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
• Utilize and contribute to the enhancement of our design system, upholding standards of consistency and quality.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback to collaboratively iterate towards optimal solutions.

Who You Are

• Systems Thinking: You excel at simplifying complexity, transforming multi-step, high-stakes workflows into clear and intuitive experiences. You have prior experience designing complex, multi-user products with high data density.
• Speed: You are proactive and capable of taking initiative without waiting for a perfect brief. You work diligently and ship regularly, prioritizing user feedback over prolonged discussion.
• Quality: You possess a strong commitment to visual design, interaction design, and clear communication. You believe that excellent design is characterized by clarity, simplicity, and meticulous execution.
• Working Style: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and actively collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers to define product direction, not just execution. You are not afraid to ask challenging questions, question assumptions, and advocate for your well-reasoned perspectives.
