Manager - Environmental Health and Safety (Ehs)

About the Role

JMA Wireless is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team in Bologna, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position within a rapidly growing technology company at the forefront of 5G innovation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of environmental health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international EHS regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Oversee environmental protection initiatives and waste management procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training to employees at all levels.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on EHS matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with 5G technology and its associated safety considerations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English is required.
