Sidel is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician specializing in Automation to join our team in Parma. This is a permanent, onsite position.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful operation of Sidel's advanced automation equipment at customer sites. Your primary focus will be on the complete lifecycle of installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at customer locations.
• Provide technical assistance to customers during and after the warranty period.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of Sidel's installed equipment.
• Deliver other after-sales services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer needs to provide objective advice and support.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, with a specialization in Automation.
• Proficiency in installation, commissioning, and testing of automated systems.
• Ability to provide effective technical assistance and customer training.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles and building client relationships.
