SAP Application Specialist (FI or SD Module)

Oliver James Associates is partnering with a leading global Chemical Group to find a skilled SAP Application Specialist. This is a permanent, onsite position based in Genova, Italy, reporting directly to the Head of IT.

About the Role

As a SAP Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing success and development of the company's SAP S/4HANA system. You will be instrumental in supporting both the headquarters and worldwide subsidiaries through various project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the roll-out, maintenance, and development projects of the SAP S/4HANA system.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Treasury departments, or Customer Service and Logistic departments, depending on your specialization.
• Design and develop comprehensive test plans, including defining test objectives, creating test cases, and preparing test data.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SAP systems.
• Specialization in either the FI (Finance) module or the SD (Sales and Distribution) module.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus.
