Head of Communication
Leadtech is seeking an executive-level Head of Communication to lead the internal and external communications strategy and operations for the Leadtech Group. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring active participation in the company's most critical projects. You will be the guardian of the corporate narrative across all brands and business units and will play a key role in managing communications related to the company's partial sale process.
This is an onsite position based in Barcelona, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications
- Design and execute the internal communications strategy for approximately 900 employees, ensuring message consistency and clarity across all business units.
- Lead communications related to the partial sale process (carve-out), including key messaging, timing, channels, and uncertainty management.
- Create and maintain internal communication channels such as intranet, newsletters, and all-hands meetings.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align communications with company values and employee experience.
External Communications & Corporate Brand
- Manage corporate communications with media, external stakeholders, and institutions, ensuring a consistent Group image in collaboration with external agencies.
- Oversee press releases, corporate announcements, and communication materials for investors or stakeholders involved in the sale process.
- Coordinate the Group's presence in technology industry publications, business events, and professional forums.
Corporate Reputation Management
- Monitor and manage the online and offline reputation of Leadtech Group and its brands using social listening tools.
- Design and implement the corporate reputation crisis management plan.
- Manage the company's presence and reviews on employer branding platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
- Develop executive thought leadership initiatives to position company leaders as industry experts.
- Coordinate with Legal and HR leadership on communications related to sensitive situations impacting reputation.
Employer Branding & Group Brands
- Define and execute a differentiated employer branding strategy for each Group brand, communicating a clear Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to align employer branding communications with recruitment campaigns.
- Produce engaging content reflecting brand culture, including employee testimonials and culture videos.
Social Media Strategy
- Lead the Group's corporate social media strategy and individual brand strategies, focusing on employer branding and corporate reputation.
- Coordinate with Marketing teams to ensure consistency between product/service and corporate messaging.
- Define social media and employer branding KPIs and provide regular reporting.
Operational Leadership & AI Transformation
- Act as a hands-on communications leader for global business unit communications, supporting organizational change initiatives.
- Lead and develop the Communications team (3 members: content and UX/design specialists).
- Serve as the team's creative director, reviewing and approving content and communication materials.
- Foster collaboration between Communications, Marketing, Talent Acquisition, and Business Unit teams.
- Establish a communications governance model.
- Collaborate on internal narrative and communication campaigns for AI adoption, helping employees understand change and embrace new ways of working.
- Position Leadtech as a leader in responsible AI adoption.
Requirements
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in Corporate Communications or Communication Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Previous experience in technology companies, scale-ups, or multi-brand organizations.
- Proven experience communicating M&A processes, restructurings, IPOs, or major organizational transformations is highly desirable.
- Experience working with employee representative bodies is highly desirable.

- Outstanding written communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum C1 level).
