Superside is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Illustrator with a strong command of Generative AI to join our global, remote team. You will combine deep illustrative craft with AI-enhanced workflows to create exceptional visuals for leading brands across campaigns, branding, editorial content, and digital experiences.

About the Role

As an AI Creative (Illustrator), your core discipline is illustration. You will leverage your strong visual storytelling skills, ability to work within established brand systems, and expertise in using AI to expand creative possibilities while maintaining quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original illustrations for branding, campaigns, editorial content, social media, and digital experiences.
• Develop character-driven narratives, visual storytelling systems, and concept-led illustration work.
• Work within existing brand and illustration systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate concept development, visual exploration, and illustration production.
• Integrate AI-generated assets into projects, maintaining strong artistic direction and brand integrity.
• Experiment with emerging AI workflows and share learnings with the creative team.
• Collaborate with creatives, project managers, and clients to translate briefs into polished visual outcomes.
• Connect illustration decisions to broader brand, campaign, and storytelling goals.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback while upholding a high standard of craft.
• Manage multiple projects, balancing independent ownership with cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional illustration experience, with a portfolio showcasing strong conceptual and narrative work.
• Excellent drawing fundamentals, including anatomy, composition, perspective, form, and visual storytelling.
• Proven ability to work within established brand systems and illustration guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related illustration tools.
• Experience using Generative AI tools as part of a professional creative workflow.
• Ability to create consistent illustration systems, character libraries, and scalable visual assets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution.
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams.
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback, iteration, and experimentation.
• Curiosity for emerging technologies and their application in illustration workflows.
