About the Role

As a Marine Travel Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for our business clients, providing exceptional travel consultation and service. You will accurately and efficiently manage travel requests received through various channels, ensuring all aspects of travel arrangements are handled seamlessly. This role involves active consultation, up-selling related products, and providing essential industry information to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for clients.
• Manage and handle crew movements, rotations, and disruption situations.
• Provide clients with relevant industry information, including fare details, exchange costs, penalties, and visa requirements.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, offering undivided attention.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments and regions.
• Meet individual and team performance goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments.
• Hands-on expertise in managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling.
• Proficiency with GDS Amadeus.
• Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated understanding of service excellence.
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform accurately under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi-regional operational setup.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
