Research Fellow Positions: Learning by Demonstration and Foundation Models for Robotics

Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) is seeking two Research Fellows to join the Center for Robotics and Intelligent Systems in Genova, Italy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research within the Horizon Europe TORNADO project.

About the Role

These positions focus on the development and application of learning by demonstration and foundation models for robot programming and control. The research will specifically address challenges in dynamic and unpredictable environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on learning by demonstration techniques for robot programming.
• Investigate the application of foundation models to enhance robot control capabilities.
• Develop and implement algorithms for robot interaction in dynamic and unpredictable environments.
• Contribute to the TORNADO project objectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team.
