Junior R&d Chemist - Customer Development

About the Role

PPG is seeking a motivated Junior R&D Lab Chemist to join our team in Brescia. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative coating solutions tailored to our customers' specific needs. You will work on customer-driven projects, formulating and modifying sol-gel-based coatings for industrial markets, contributing directly to the achievement of annual business goals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and formulate coating products based on client requirements.
• Utilize laboratory tools and techniques for product formulation and modification.
• Focus on sol-gel-based coatings for industrial market applications.
• Contribute to achieving annual R&D objectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and progressively gain autonomy in assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Background in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Familiarity with R&D principles and laboratory practices.
• Interest in Coatings and formulation science.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about sol-gel technology.
