R&d Lab Technician

About the Role

PPG is seeking a motivated R&D Lab Technician to join our team in Brescia, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position where you will play a crucial role in developing innovative coating solutions for our industrial market clients. You will work on customer-specific projects, formulating and modifying sol-gel-based coatings to meet their unique needs and align with annual company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and formulate coating products for client projects.
• Utilize laboratory tools and equipment for formulation and modification of sol-gel-based coatings.
• Contribute to achieving annual goals for the industrial markets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to learn and grow, eventually becoming autonomous in your responsibilities.

Requirements

• Experience as a Lab Technician, with a focus on R&D.
• Familiarity with Coatings and Formulation principles.
• Experience with Sol-gel technology is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
