Sidel is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician with a mechanical specialization to join our team in Parma. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the successful installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of Sidel's advanced equipment at customer sites.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Your primary responsibilities will involve the hands-on execution of installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment. You will also provide crucial technical assistance, both during and after the warranty period, and deliver training to customer personnel. Developing a strong understanding of customer needs will be key to providing effective advice and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, start-up, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at customer locations.
• Provide technical assistance during and after the warranty period.
• Conduct training sessions for customer staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Deliver other after-sales services for Sidel's installed equipment.
• Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs to offer objective advice and solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician with a strong mechanical background.
• Proficiency in equipment installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Ability to provide effective technical assistance and support.
• Experience in customer training is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on customer sites.
