About the Role

Fedrigoni Special Papers is seeking a dedicated Buyer Chemicals to join our Procurement team in Verona. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of essential chemicals for our operations. You will manage suppliers, contracts, and sourcing strategies to optimize costs, maintain supply chain continuity, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of chemicals, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for chemical raw materials.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Oversee supplier relationships and performance, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Contribute to the optimization of supply chain processes for chemical procurement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet chemical supply needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply Chain management.
• Demonstrated ability in Contracts and Supplier Management.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry, specifically chemical procurement.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
