About the Role

Crowned Skin is seeking a Social Media Manager who possesses a deep understanding of internet culture, storytelling, engagement, and trend-driven content. This role is crucial in scaling one of the most exciting brands in the beauty and e-commerce space.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Crowned Skin's social media and content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other emerging platforms. This position involves creating and curating engaging content, managing the content calendar, and fostering community engagement to support acquisition, retention, and brand awareness objectives. The ideal candidate will be both creative and data-driven, capable of translating brand narratives into culturally resonant content and utilizing performance data to optimize future campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage daily posting schedules and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and discoverable.
  • Collaborate with creative, influencer, and growth teams to maximize campaign reach and impact.

Content Management

  • Develop and maintain the brand's content calendar, aligning with product launches, marketing campaigns, and cultural moments.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality short-form videos, social graphics, photography, and written content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Crowned Skin's brand voice, visual identity, and cultural positioning.

Community Engagement

  • Actively engage with followers through comments, direct messages, and live interactions to build loyalty and advocacy.
  • Identify and activate brand advocates and superfans to extend organic reach.
  • Monitor community sentiment and provide insights to leadership.

Performance & Analytics

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engagement, reach, conversions, and customer acquisition cost/lifetime value (CAC/LTV).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with actionable recommendations for content optimization.
  • Collaborate with growth and analytics teams to test new creative formats and measure return on investment (ROI).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Partnerships & Influencer teams to synchronize content with affiliate and creator campaigns.
  • Support product and retail launches with integrated content strategies.
  • Ensure content is optimized for TikTok Shop and e-commerce storytelling.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social media platforms.
  • Hands-on content creation skills, including video editing, copywriting, and photography.
  • Ability to balance creative execution with data-driven optimization.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for men's grooming, beauty, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media or content marketing.
  • Proven success in building engaged social communities and scaling organic reach.
  • Experience creating short-form video content and managing brand social channels.
  • Experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), grooming, beauty, or consumer lifestyle sectors is preferred.
  • Experience with high-growth, disruptive brands in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space is advantageous.
