BCD Travel is seeking a Senior Travel Consultant, ERM to join our global team. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position based in Brazil, open to candidates across Latin America.
About the Role
As a Senior Travel Consultant, ERM, you will be the primary point of contact for business customers, handling their travel requests efficiently and accurately via multiple channels such as phone and email. You will provide active travel consultation, offer travel details, and promote related products. This role requires an extensive understanding of the travel industry and the ability to work independently while also supporting team members. You will assist with operational projects, coach other travel consultants, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently handle incoming customer requests through various channels.
- Provide active travel consultation and up-sell related products.
- Utilize BCD Travel tools and systems effectively.
- Anticipate and address potential customer challenges.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries with undivided attention.
- Review operational processes and customer relationships, suggesting improvements.
- Perform quality management, including error management.
- Assist with assigned projects.
- Meet individual and team goals.
- Provide day-to-day assistance to team members, answering questions and guiding them on policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments.
- Hands-on expertise in managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurately under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi-regional operations setup.
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem-resolution skills.
