About the Role

Skillsoft is seeking an experienced and motivated Growth Account Executive to join our team in the UK. This is a permanent, onsite role focused on driving revenue growth within an existing enterprise account territory. You will leverage a hunter mentality and a strategic, solution-selling approach to build strong customer relationships and achieve defined business goals related to revenue and whitespace expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue through the growth of an existing enterprise account base.
  • Sell Skillsoft Content and Platform solutions directly to corporate decision-makers.
  • Influence customers at the senior leadership level by building relationships and offering solutions to their challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success managers, marketing, and support teams to advance opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations, including research, data, agendas, and tailored content, with impeccable follow-up.
  • Establish measurable business goals with timelines for revenue and whitespace growth.
  • Provide management with feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risk, opportunities, and progress.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, specifically selling SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives.
  • A proven track record of outstanding quota attainment.
  • Currently reside in the UK with the ability to travel to customers within a regional territory as required.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience with pipeline documentation.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets and a clear understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Skilled in demonstrating solutions, speaking the language of corporate buyers, respectfully challenging their thinking, and negotiating effectively based on value.
  • Ability to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and a positive, winning attitude.
  • Experience understanding complex client requirements and articulating offerings to develop tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to take ownership, solve problems, and operate with an agile mindset.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in the learning, human capital, or human capital technology space is preferred.
