About the Role

HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is seeking an IT Specialist to join our Expansion Project Team in Trieste. We are a modern, multipurpose maritime terminal established in 2021, strategically positioned in the rapidly developing North Adriatic market. Our current focus is on a significant phased expansion project aimed at transforming our facility into a fully automated, state-of-the-art container terminal, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist on this project, you will be instrumental in the planning and execution of this transformative initiative. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the integration of current facilities with new, advanced technologies.
• Supporting the transition towards a fully automated container terminal environment.
• Working with a team dedicated to implementing innovative solutions within a dynamic maritime terminal setting.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a strong background as an IT Specialist, particularly those with experience or a keen interest in large-scale expansion projects. Experience within the container terminal or manufacturing industries, especially with automated systems and related technologies, would be highly advantageous.
