Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute quarterly practice visit plans, conduct bi-weekly site visits, and lead direct reports to maximize practice growth and financial performance.
- Build strong relationships with partner and associate doctors, communicating the company's vision and strategic goals, and resolving escalated issues in partnership with the SVP of Operations.
- Oversee onboarding and off-boarding processes for associates, including growth planning and associate-to-partner model design.
- Coordinate and resolve payroll issues with relevant teams.
- Mentor and develop Regional Directors of Operations (RDOs) through regular one-on-one meetings and individual development plans.
- Realign and expand the RDO team to drive organic and M&A growth, and manage regional budgets effectively.
- Conduct monthly operational reviews with RDOs to create and monitor action plans supporting EBITDA optimization.
- Prepare quarterly business reviews for senior leadership, covering achievements, challenges, and growth strategies.
- Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies within practices to improve production and margins, ensuring optimal scheduling and doctor availability.
- Collaborate with corporate support departments on strategic initiatives, including recruiting, marketing, practice transitions, procurement, technology, compliance, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Focus on associate doctor retention through engagement and support of mentorship programs.
- Lead and measure the outcomes of strategic initiatives, refining processes for maximum impact.
- Implement best practices across Practice Management Systems (PMS) for scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and end-of-day reconciliations.
- Develop and present business cases for regional growth opportunities.
- Ensure efficient patient access through knowledge of call center and telephone configurations.
- Communicate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) practice performance to align teams with budget expectations, utilizing Excel and pivot tables.
- Cascade change management and communications to RDOs and practice administrators, focusing on best practices and standardization.
- Drive new practice openings, relocations, lease renewals, and major equipment acquisitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within a healthcare or dental support environment.
- Proven track record of leadership in multi-location management.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in team development, mentoring, and objective setting.
- Expertise in operational planning, process optimization, and change management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage partners and staff.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills for KPI monitoring and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features like pivot tables, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG), Smartsheet, and other workflow tools.
- Familiarity with call center and telephone routing configurations (e.g., Ring Central) to ensure immediate patient access.

Position Base Pay Range: $150,000 USD - $200,000 USD
