About the Role

Carnival Corporation is seeking a meticulous and organized Hotel Storekeeper to manage and maintain general stores at one of their global destinations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of inventory, including consumables, chemicals, equipment, and uniforms. The Storekeeper will be responsible for all aspects of inventory management, from receiving and storage to distribution and record-keeping, ensuring operational needs are met seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management & Reporting:
  • Place and manage requests for necessary inventory items.
  • Assist with the purchasing of items and materials.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports on inventory levels and stock counts.
  • Keep precise records of stock, requirements, and report needs.
  • Issue a weekly inventory list to relevant departments.
  • Confirm deliveries against invoices for accuracy.
• Stores Organization & Issuance:
  • Maintain stores in an organized, well-ordered, and accessible manner.
  • Properly label and maintain all storage sections.
  • Issue items to relevant departments or personnel as required.
• Material Receiving & Auditing:
  • Audit incoming materials for accurate paperwork and correct quantities.
  • Assist with unloading containers, sorting, counting, and receiving items.
• Compliance & Assistance:
  • Adhere to company safety standards, including safety wear and procedures.
  • Assist the Inventory Manager with assigned tasks.
  • Perform other role-related duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all Corporate Policies and Procedures, including the Code of Conduct and audit procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
• Familiarity with stock control principles.
• Understanding of safety and handling standards for various materials.
