HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is seeking a motivated and experienced Vessel and Yard Planner to join our team in Trieste. This is a permanent, onsite position within the Transport/Logistics/Container Handling industry.

About the Role

As a Vessel and Yard Planner, you will be instrumental in developing and executing detailed operational plans to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of operations. You will play a key role in optimizing our vessel schedules, berth allocation, and cargo handling processes, while also managing the complete yard process to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed operational plans for vessel schedules, berth allocation, and cargo handling.
• Analyze services and vessel patterns, providing forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Control and plan the complete yard process to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure due consideration is given to vessel and intermodal operations in all planning.
• Oversee and maintain the daily operational flow.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vessel scheduling and berth allocation.
• Strong understanding of cargo handling processes.
• Expertise in yard planning and management.
• Ability to develop and implement operational plans.
• Experience in forecasting and service analysis.
• Familiarity with intermodal operations.
