About the Role

HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is establishing a new Multipurpose Terminal in the Port of Trieste, designed to handle Container, RoRo, General Cargo, and Project Cargo. Situated in the Adriatic, this terminal aims to meet increasing demand and serve as a vital sea-rail interchange connecting the Baltic, Adriatic, and Mediterranean railway networks. We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to join our team in Trieste.

Key Responsibilities

As Technical Director, you will play a crucial role in the engineering and technical operations of our new terminal. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all technical aspects of the terminal's operations.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of engineering strategies.
• Managing projects related to cargo handling and infrastructure.
• Ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment and facilities.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in engineering and a proven track record in a senior technical role. Essential skills and experience include:

• Significant experience as a Technical Director.
• Expertise in Engineering principles.
• Familiarity with operations involving Project Cargo, General Cargo, and Container handling.
• A strong understanding of port terminal operations.
