Shift Leader

About the Role

HHLA PLT Italy is seeking an enthusiastic Shift Leader to join their dynamic and fast-growing team at the new Multipurpose Terminal in the Port of Trieste. This is a permanent, onsite position.

The terminal is strategically located in the heart of the Adriatic and is poised to become a major interchange platform between sea and rail, connecting the Baltic, Adriatic, and Mediterranean railway networks.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating terminal operations during your shift. This includes:

• Leading and managing a team to ensure efficient operations.
• Supervising cargo handling activities for containers, RoRo, general cargo, and project cargo.
• Ensuring smooth logistics and port operations.
• Contributing to the overall success of the terminal in meeting growing demand.
