About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with our largest prospects. You will target impactful companies in North America that drive the physical economy. Motive is heavily investing in its Enterprise Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, and you will play a key role in selling the value of our products and the business outcomes achievable with Motive.
This role involves selling across various industries that rely on vehicle fleets, such as trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer transit. We are looking for individuals who are receptive to feedback, eager to learn, possess strong technical aptitude, and have a keen eye for detail. A collaborative, "win-as-a-team" mentality is essential for success in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and secure new Enterprise business by building key executive relationships within target accounts.
- Drive account expansion and increase share of wallet by deeply understanding client businesses and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
- Leverage executive relationships to win RFPs and grow contractual business.
- Partner with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and available resources to optimize buying decisions.
- Identify and resolve issues by critically assessing situations and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with technical resources to demonstrate the power of integrations and our partner ecosystem.
- Plan and execute strategies to consistently meet and exceed revenue quotas.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our technology platform and operations, providing market insights for product iteration.
- Continuously study market trends to offer consultative insights to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Enterprise sales, with a focus on partnering with F1000 clients.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in SaaS or industry-relevant Enterprise field sales.
- A strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and growing accounts, supported by data.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
- A history of independent work with a data-driven approach to achieving sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and manage objections effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 2 times per month.
- Territory: AL, AR, KY, LA, MS, TN.
What We Offer

The on-target earnings (base pay + commissions) for this position range from $230,000 to $300,000 USD, depending on location.
