Sourcing Manager Commercial Components

About the Role

Sidel is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager for Commercial Components to join our team in Parma, Italy. This is a permanent, onsite position where you will be instrumental in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies and managing suppliers for specific commodity groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement short and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned commodity groups.
• Perform sourcing activities for a defined portfolio of spend categories at a global level to achieve commodity results.
• Ensure compliance with the Group's overall strategy.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Contribute to commodity management initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Strong background in supplier management and commodity management.
• Demonstrated expertise in procurement and negotiation.
• Ability to manage a global portfolio of spend categories.
• Understanding of and adherence to group procurement strategies.
