Junior Scientist

About the Role

Gowan USA is seeking a motivated Junior Scientist to join our GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) departments, specifically within Residue Analysis (RA) and Metabolism (MEF). This onsite role is based at our R&D Center in Novara, Italy.

You will contribute to studies conducted in full GLP compliance, which are crucial for supporting the registration of agrochemicals, biocides, and chemical and biological products. The Metabolism (MEF) department focuses on conducting metabolism and environmental fate studies, utilizing both radiolabeled (primarily C-14) and unlabeled test substances.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting studies within the Residue Analysis and Metabolism departments.
• Ensure all activities are performed in full GLP compliance.
• Support the execution of metabolism and environmental fate studies.
• Work with both radiolabeled and unlabeled test substances.

Requirements

• Experience or strong interest in GLP principles.
• Familiarity with Residue Analysis techniques.
• Understanding of Metabolism studies in the context of agrochemicals and biocides.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
