About the Role

Menarini is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical/Scientific Assessor to join our Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV) team in Florence. Reporting to the GPV Risk Evaluation Unit Manager, and functionally to the GPV Director/EU Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (EUQPPV), this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety of our medicinal products. Occasional travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Review international scientific literature relevant to assigned medicinal products.
• Perform signal detection and management activities for assigned medicinal products.
• Provide scientific support in the preparation and review of Aggregate Safety Reports, including:
  • Periodic Benefit-Risk Evaluation Reports (PBRERs)
  • Development Safety Update Reports (DSURs)
  • Addenda to the Investigator's Brochure (IB)
  • Other relevant safety documents

Requirements

• Proven experience in pharmacovigilance.
• Familiarity with scientific literature review processes.
• Experience in signal detection and management.
• Proficiency in assessing safety reports.
• Strong medical and scientific assessment capabilities.
