About the Role

As a VA Claims Specialist, you will investigate health insurance claims and bills to ensure their resolution. You will follow up on unresolved claims and facilitate payments for Veterans' Affairs and its affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate health insurance claims and bills.
• Ensure claims are resolved efficiently.
• Follow up on outstanding and unresolved claims.
• Facilitate the payment of claims for Veterans' Affairs.

Requirements

We are looking for driven and motivated individuals who are eager to grow their careers. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Technical proficiency to manage multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
• The ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• At least one year of experience in a professional office environment.
• Experience in health insurance billing is preferred.
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is a plus.
• Experience with billing and appealing denied health claims is a plus.
