Social Media Coordinator

STNDRDS is a new luxury media brand exploring the evolving definition of modern luxury through culture, legacy, innovation, travel, design, philanthropy, business, and influential personalities shaping the future. Backed by Seeking, a global platform with more than 50 million members, STNDRDS delivers thoughtful journalism and compelling storytelling to an audience of leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and high-net-worth individuals around the world.

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to lead the day-to-day management of our social channels and help build STNDRDS into a recognized voice in the luxury lifestyle and cultural conversation.

Position Overview

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing, scheduling, publishing, and optimizing content across all STNDRDS social media platforms. This role will work closely with editorial leadership, contributors, designers, and the Seeking social media team to align campaigns and amplify content when strategic opportunities exist.

The ideal candidate understands both luxury audiences and digital storytelling, has strong writing skills, and can translate long-form editorial content into engaging social media experiences that drive awareness, engagement, and audience growth.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage STNDRDS social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor daily content across all channels.
  • Create compelling captions, headlines, and social copy consistent with the STNDRDS voice.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose editorial content into social-first formats.

Content Creation & Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to develop social media assets that support articles, interviews, events, and special projects.
  • Assist in the creation of short-form video content, reels, stories, and promotional materials.
  • Support launches of new issues, cover stories, partnerships, and branded initiatives.
  • Coordinate social promotion for events, symposiums, podcasts, and community-building efforts.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with Seeking’s social media team to align messaging and coordinate campaigns when mutually beneficial.
  • Collaborate with writers, photographers, designers, and external contributors to maximize content reach.
  • Help identify influencer, creator, and brand partnership opportunities.

Analytics & Growth

  • Track and report on social media performance, audience growth, engagement, and content effectiveness.
  • Monitor trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities within the luxury, lifestyle, culture, and business sectors.
  • Provide recommendations to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.
  • Support audience development initiatives and community-building strategies.

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, direct messages, and audience interactions.
  • Engage with readers, industry leaders, luxury brands, and strategic partners in a professional and timely manner.
  • Help foster an engaged and thoughtful online community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a media company, luxury brand, lifestyle publication, or related organization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in luxury, lifestyle, travel, fashion, hospitality, or premium consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
  • Experience with short-form video creation and editing.
  • Knowledge of SEO, audience development, and digital publishing best practices.
  • Experience supporting event promotion and brand partnerships.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and community builder. They understand how to elevate a luxury brand without relying on clichés, can identify meaningful conversations worth joining, and are excited about helping shape a new media platform from the ground up.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work environment
  • Opportunity to help build an emerging luxury media brand
  • Direct collaboration with editorial leadership and industry influencers
  • Professional growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
