About the Role

Hertz is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Clerk to join our team in Rome. This role is crucial in ensuring our fleet is exceptionally well-serviced, offering the best possible cost-effective solutions while aligning with company strategy. You will be responsible for managing the performance of our shop network and overseeing daily maintenance checks, short-term appraisals, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a well-serviced fleet, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
• Implement company strategy related to fleet maintenance.
• Manage the performance of the team through shop network effectiveness.
• Conduct daily check maintenance and short-term appraisals.
• Manage maintenance inventory.
• Monitor costs associated with scheduled low and medium-value maintenance.
• Manage direct vendors and suppliers.
• Manage and update the Oracle Financial system.
• Conduct Out-of-Stock (OOS) analysis.

Requirements

• Experience in fleet maintenance.
• Proficiency in cost management.
• Skills in vendor and supplier management.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Familiarity with Oracle Financial systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Rome.
