We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Executive to play an instrumental role in growing the social presence of innovative brands within the startup world. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the success of multiple exciting clients.
About the Role
As a Social Media Executive, you will work with a portfolio of 2-4 brands concurrently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied and engaging, focusing on developing and executing impactful social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Planning: Develop strategically clear, insight-led content plans aligned with brand objectives across various social media channels.
- Content Creation: Create engaging static designed assets and social-first video content, primarily for Instagram and TikTok.
- Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for posts and captions that captures attention and drives engagement.
- Community Management: Actively manage comments and direct messages on behalf of the brands, fostering positive community interaction.
- Influencer Outreach: Identify relevant influencers, manage outreach, briefing, and product send-outs.
- Partnerships: Lead the end-to-end process for brand partnerships, a key growth lever for startup brands.
- Reporting: Measure and report on social media performance to inform strategic decisions and creative output.
- Coordination: Assist with various tasks beyond core social media, such as coordinating photoshoots and sample send-outs.
Requirements
- A keen creative eye for what resonates on social media.
- Proven experience in managing social media for a brand, or a strong personal brand demonstrating your capabilities.
- A curious mindset, eager to draw inspiration from other brands and categories.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience using social-first content creation platforms such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar.
