Part-Time Middle School Counsellor

The International School of Florence is seeking an outstanding and experienced Part-Time Middle School Counsellor to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about supporting the social and emotional development of students in grades 6-8.

About the Role

As a Middle School Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. You will provide guidance and support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional counselling to middle school students (grades 6-8).
• Develop and implement programs to support student well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
• Offer guidance on academic and personal development.

Requirements

• Master’s-Level Degree or Equivalent and credentials in educational psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time counselling experience, with a focus on social/emotional support.
• Experience in international IB schools is strongly preferred.
• Must possess an EU passport or an Italian work permit.
