Omega CRM is seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Manager to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company. This role is crucial for enabling efficient and effective campaign automation services within the Human Pharma Delivery Unit (HPS DU).

About the Role

As the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Manager, you will be instrumental in building and automating campaign journeys. While Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be your primary platform, you may also work with other digital engagement tools, including Adobe Marketing Cloud software, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), database management systems, and proprietary work-intake tools. You will also contribute to maintaining team-specific spaces within the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure campaign workflows and deliveries align with business needs and market expectations as defined in campaign briefings.
  • Maintain high-quality, on-time campaign execution, including proper setup for measurement and quality assurance.
  • Own and optimize campaign processes, focusing on platform automation and driving innovative ideas for efficiency and quality.
  • Provide technical specifications and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for software enhancements within the marketing automation toolset.
  • Debug workflow and delivery issues, and report platform issues and bugs to IT support.
  • Document enhancements, templates, and technical processes.
  • Develop and test script enhancements, including JavaScript, schema extensions, and web API calls.
  • Create and maintain technical workflows, campaign workflow templates, landing pages, and HTML content.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Support Services and Platform Management Omnichannel teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or business administration with a strong technological background.
  • Excellent campaign management and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign.
  • Knowledge of databases, SQL, ETL, and web API calls.
  • Proficiency in Ampscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Python is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into software enhancements.
  • Experience in a software house, consultancy, or project delivery environment is preferred.
  • Fluency in English.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
  • Technical marketing automation certification (e.g., Architect or Developer).
  • Knowledge of email and website design.
  • Exposure to Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket).
