Host / Hostess - Luxury Barge - Francia

About the Role

European Waterways is a premier river tourism company specializing in luxury barge cruises across France's picturesque canals, including the Canal de Bourgogne, Canal du Nivernais, Canal du Midi, and Canal de la Marne au Rhin. We are seeking a dedicated Host / Hostess to join the crew of one of our 12 hotel barges. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to provide an exceptional experience for our guests as they explore the cultural and gastronomic delights of France.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to guests onboard.
• Assist with food and beverage service.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient onboard atmosphere.
• Collaborate effectively with the barge crew, including the pilot/captain, chef, and tour guide/deckhand.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality and customer service.
• Familiarity with food and beverage service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated crew.
