Marshalls PLC, a leading UK supplier of hard landscaping, building, and roofing products, is seeking a determined and relationship-driven Regional Sales Manager to join their successful Water Management division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major civil and drainage projects with a diverse client base.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will manage a competitive, high-performing sales territory covering specific postcodes in the South of the UK. You will leverage your experience from a heavy-side manufacturing background to maintain and develop strong relationships with key merchants, contractors, and supply chain partners, driving continued engagement and sales growth. Success in this role requires a seasoned sales professional capable of value-added selling, combining strategic account management with proactive business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a designated sales territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including builders' merchants, specifiers, and contractors.
  • Identify new business opportunities and foster sales growth.
  • Negotiate effectively using technical information and product specifications.
  • Present solutions and engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail in commercial processes and administration.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales with strong commercial experience.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a solutions-based mindset.
  • Knowledge of procurement routes.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of Water Management product ranges is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience within a heavy-side manufacturing background is preferred.
