Apaleo is seeking a Senior Product Management Lead to revolutionize the fiscal and compliance aspects of their open, API-first property management platform. This is a unique opportunity to redefine how Apaleo handles complex regulatory requirements across global markets, moving from a reactive, engineering-intensive model to a scalable, configuration-driven framework.

About the Role

As the Senior Product Management Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of hospitality technology. You will own the platform vision for fiscal and compliance, defining the architectural direction and roadmap to make future integrations faster and more cost-effective. This role requires strategic thinking, strong collaboration with engineering, and the ability to manage and develop other product managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Platform Vision: Define the architectural direction for fiscal and compliance requirements, focusing on the underlying model for future integrations.
• Develop the Roadmap: Create and own a structured 12-month roadmap that balances regulatory delivery, platform investment, and technical debt reduction.
• Drive Framework Design: Lead the design of a reusable fiscal integration framework to transform new-market integrations into scalable, configuration-driven workflows.
• Architectural Alignment: Partner closely with Engineering and Tech Leads on architectural decisions with long-term platform implications.
• Lead the Crew PM: Manage and mentor the Senior PM within the fiscal and compliance domain, providing clear scope and development paths.
• Collaborate with Compliance: Work closely with the Product Compliance Leader, translating regulatory intelligence into product decisions and managing platform implications.

Requirements

• Proven track record in platform-level product strategy, beyond just feature delivery.
• Experience building and defending investment cases for foundational engineering work against short-term pressures.
• Ability to drive architectural alignment with Engineering without direct line management authority.
• Comfortable operating in new domains with a clear plan to rapidly acquire knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in compliance-adjacent or regulated software is a plus.
