IGCSE Geography Teacher (Native English Speaker)

Darby School of Languages, a renowned language school established in 1997, is seeking a qualified and experienced IGCSE Geography teacher for its Rome campus. We are a school of excellence dedicated to providing high-quality language education to students of all ages, offering both individual and group lessons, in-person and online.

About the Role

This is a contract position for a mid-level educator. You will be responsible for teaching Cambridge IGCSE Geography classes to students. The role requires a deep understanding of the IGCSE Geography curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Cambridge IGCSE Geography.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Potentially contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements

• Native English speaker or fully bilingual.
• A degree in Geography or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE Geography.
• Strong understanding of the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
• Excellent teaching and classroom management skills.
• Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
